Here's how it works: I create
the setup in a dark area, and leave the camera shutter open. Then
a noise or other sensor triggers one or more high-power flashes through
a precisely tuned timer, and the only light that gets to the film is the
crisp instant illuminated by the flash. Click the thumbnails to see
